"Simpy The Best" Burger Baron
| Close | More Info |
Just amazing. The best burgers, home-made style pizza (which tastes absolutely wonderful), and my personal favorite, the donair. With just the right mix of spices in the meat, with the real donair sauce(not tsziki) drizzled over it, it's simply the best.

"Disappointed!" Buckles Restaurant and Saloon
| Close | More Info |
We went to Buckles for our breakfast on Sunday May 18, 2008. We were quickly seated and given menus. It wasn't very busy, maybe 4 other tables full. We were served coffee and our order taken. Our food, which was very good was served quickly. I was very disappointed by the service with coffee. Our waitress passed our table by multiple times with a coffee pot in her hand and never ONCE offered to refill our coffees. We requested a refill once, at which point our server (if you can call her that) delegated a "coffee run" to the bus girl, who went and got the coffee pot and served the tablet ...

"hashbrowns" Alberts Family Restaurant
| Close | More Info |
April 21, 2008 my husband and I ate at your restaurant in Vegreville. I ordered "Hashbrowns" right off the menu, as it was printed. When the waitress brought me the hashbrowns, they were deep fried potato nuggets. This was not what I had hoped for, but the grated potatoes that are fried, and what I assume hasbrowns are. Although frying is not the best for oil reduction, it is much better than deep fried in hot oil and I refused the so called hashbrowns and the waitress returned them to the kitchen but she told me I had to pay for them anyway. I hadn't tasted them, or anything, but that di ...

This place makes some good food. The "Taste of the West" sampler plate is really good. Pate, locally cured meats and smoked seafood to start, and...grilled skewered scallops. So tastey...beyond so tastey. Have you ever tried grilled watermelon? How about wild boar bacon? This place serves em' up good. For the entree,The Game Sampler: Deer Sausage, Caribou, Buffalo Tenderloin and horseradish potatoes. A beautiful place on top of it all and the service was superb. What a treat.

I love this bakery. Such great, imaginative and healthy creations. I like to start the day with the breakfast panini and the omega 3 banana bread. I am also a fan of the chocolate zucchini loaf and whole wheat chocolate cookies. They pull soe good shots here too. All around goodness.

"Delicious in Every Way" Von's Steak and Fish House

Shared a great meal with a bunch of friends. Started with lots of appetizers. Raw oysters, bruschetta and a seafood platter. They were all prepared well and presented very nicely. The staff here are very helpful as well. I shared the Bison Tenderloin and seafood linguini with a friend. A great mix of texture and taste. A cool building with exposed brick. Very spacious. I would come back.

"Romantic Frenchy" The Creperie
| Close | More Info |
This is a really romantic restaurant with such quality food. I love to bring my lady friends here for a little romance and culinary excellence. The baked brie is great for an appetizer and can you please try the frog legs? The baked french onion soup is also very nice. The french entrees are very good, lamb, beef, duck, mussels ( not just crepes folks). But if you want crepes, there are crepes galore. Savory and Sweet. There are so many choices and all that I have tried has been really, really tastey. It is also a great spot for vegetarians. The service was superior and the ambiance oozes roma ...

First, start with the sweet potato poutine. Ok, but if your trying to fit into your 5th grade bikini...go for the, oh just get it. It is so worth it. I also love the cajun calamari. Yum. So cajun, so calamari. The Po'Boy sandwich is great, blackened catfish, jambalaya. It is so authentic Cajun. I have never felt so New Orleans in Edmonton without being on drugs.
